Dr. James "Jim" Botkin is a graduate of the Harvard Business School where he concentrated on Executive Learning and Education. In addition to his MBA from HBS, he holds the DBA or doctorate as well as a BA from Harvard College.

Jim trained as a coach at CTI the Coaches Training Institute. He is certified as a CPCC. He likes to tell the story that it was harder to pass the coaching certification exam at CTI than it was 30 years earlier to pass the Harvard Business School doctoral exam!

Jim is Chairman of InnerCALL, which provides Global Leadership Coaching to selected Eisenhower Fellowship recipients. Jim is a member of the Eisenhower Fellowships NE International Leadership Initiative.
Author: Business & Learning
Jim is the author or co-author of more than six published books on business and learning. His book No Limits to Learning sold more than a million copies in fifteen languages, and was widely heralded for its innovative concept of "integrated learning." This type of learning integrates an executive's capacities for future vision, team behavior, and experiential education where the roles of IQ, EQ (emotional intelligence) and CQ (cultural sensitivity) become key.

German, French & English
Jim is fluent in German, French and English, having lived and worked in Switzerland in each of the three sectors - Zurich, Geneva, and Lugano. In addition to Switzerland, he has lived and worked for five years in Salzburg, Austria, where he was Academic Director of the renowned Salzburg Seminar.
