Priscilla Douglas
Priscilla H. Douglas is the founder of PHDouglas & Associates - helping leaders be more effective as leaders. In her executive coaching, she aids clients to transform their culture by becoming more skilled at working collaboratively and strategically, connecting with customers and sharing knowledge.

Priscilla has worked with individuals and teams in automotive, financial services, technology, and government. She served as a Special Assistant to the Director of the FBI and as Massachusetts Secretary of Consumer Affairs. She taught courses in management, leadership and organizational behavior for the Harvard University Radcliffe Seminars. While at General Motors, she worked with the originator of the quality movement - Dr. W. Edwards Deming.

PHDouglas & Associates is a consulting firm that specializes in individual empowerment and organizational effectiveness. She is a consultant and executive coach who works at the individual, team or company level to develop and unleash organizational talent, innovation and productivity. Specifically, her clients become more adept working collaboratively and strategically, transforming their culture, capturing and sharing knowledge, and connecting with customers. In sum, they enhance their ability to lead and produce breakthrough results.

Priscilla has worked with individuals and teams in automotive, financial services, technology, and government. She brings over 25 years of real world experience and thought leadership from the public and private sector to client engagements. She knows how to walk the talk and readily shares her insights in a practical way to help her clients.

With the CEO of a major manufacturing company, she created a skip level communications process that resulted in more accurate and timely employee and customer feedback. WIth the President of an automotive engineering firm, she initiated a strategic process approach, which accelerated the product development process. With the Senior Vice President of a financial services company, she delivered three-day events that led to the adoption of new leadership behavior and direction. Priscilla is consulting to the change management committee for a state judiciary to design processes and practices that will underpin the implementation of a major new technology application. Currently she is an advisor and coach to senior leaders implementing global diversity initiatives.

Her professional career includes key executive positions in government, academics and business where she was often the first woman and the first African American. She served as a Special Assistant to the Director of the FBI and as Secretary of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulations for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. As an instructor in the masters program for Harvard University Radcliffe Seminars, she taught courses in management, leadership and organizational behavior. While at General Motors, she worked closely with the originator of the quality movement - Dr. W. Edwards Deming.

Priscilla is a speaker and author. She has presented at the Aspen Institute, Club of Rome, and has been a keynote speaker in forums in Singapore, Australia and Japan. She has published two articles on knowledge sharing and is currently working on an article entitled "How Leaders Generate Sustainable Conversations."

Priscilla earned her Ed.D from Harvard Graduate School of Education where her thesis on Black Working Women was accepted with distinction. She earned her master's and bachelor's degree from Northeastern University and is currently a member of the National Council. Besides coaching and consulting, her interests include skiing, scuba diving and cycling.
