Rachel Elkind is an executive coach, mediator and facilitator, helping her clients increase their leadership capability and improve their individual and organizational performance. She provides a structure for her clients to achieve goals, work more collaboratively, be accountable to themselves and others and reduce stress.
Rachel received her coaching certification through The Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and the International Coach Federation (ICF). She is also a certified NLP practitioner and an administrator of the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument. She is an associate of MindTech, Inc., a management consultant company in Boston and collaborates with a variety of other consultants to produce high quality developmental programs.
Rachel has worked with hundreds of executives from a variety of industries including: technology, healthcare, banking, consulting, education, and entertainment. She especially enjoys working as at team skills trainer at Executive Leadership and Management Programs at Harvard and Columbia Business School.
As a mediator, Rachel focuses on solving relationship issues and resolving conflict and does so with the New York Civilian Complaint Review Board.
As a former teacher of English as a Second Language, Rachel worked in multicultural classes and developed a deep appreciation, curiosity and sensitivity to how diversity plays out in society and the workplace. She's taught in New York City, Spain and Brazil.
Rachel works with the Executive Leadership Institute in New York, and provides on-going Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and Time Management trainings for the Schools' Assistant Principals and Educational Advisors.
In her spare time, Rachel enjoys photography and has exhibited in New York and Connecticut. She also plays competitive basketball.
